On Labor Day, we recognize the millions of workers whose labor keeps our communities and economy moving. Haitian TPS holders are part of that workforce. Taking away their ability to work legally does not serve the interests of the United States.

Pierre should still be alive today. If you are infuriated by his death, here is your chance to help us push for legislation that will restore the immigration status he lost and will protect everyone else who is currently facing the same threats ⤵️

Overnight, the legal status of more than 350,000 Haitians was taken away by a single Supreme Court decision. That’s how quickly doing everything “the right way” can mean nothing when the rules are changed overnight. So we marched.

Dear community members, it is with a heavy heart that we have been forced to cancel our August 29th community gathering because more people have been detained by ICE in San Diego. Please bear with us as we look into the best ways to continue providing lifesaving support.

To our allies, We must continue to take action to protect the more than 350,000 Haitian family members, friends, and neighbors who are impacted by the TPS for Haiti termination. The House has already acted, and now the Senate MUST urgently pass S.4814 and restore TPS

🚨 On top of the devastating TPS news being revoked, the new expanded U.S. Visa Bond Program now requires certain applicants for B-1/B-2 visitor visas from 50 designated countries to post a refundable bond of $5,000–$20,000 before traveling to the United States.

📣JOIN THE WEBINAR Tomorrow, HBA is hosting an important community conversation where immigration attorneys and advocates will discuss: - Your rights during encounters with immigration authorities - Preparing for the potential end of TPS - Family and asset protection planning (1/2)

One call to your senator will help protect over 350,000 lives. By July 24th, all work permits for Haitians on Temporary Protected Status (TPS) will end. Then the gov will revoke protection. We could witness one of the largest family separation events in modern day history.

On Wednesday, more than 500 TPS holders, immigrant families + advocates from across the country came together with HBA and the Congressional Black Caucus for a powerful virtual town hall in response to the devastating SCOTUS decision allowing the termination of TPS for thousands of Haitians

The fight for TPS for Haiti is not over 🇭🇹 In the wake of the recent Supreme Court decision, 350,000 Haitian TPS holders are at risk of being deported and separated from their families. Join HBA and the @CBCInstitute for a National TPS Town Hall to hear the path forward

Incredibly devastating decision from the Supreme Court has landed nearly half a million Haitian+Syrian TPS holders at risk of deportation. HBA’s Executive Director, Guerline Jozef, makes the following statement calling for the Senate to pass S.4814 as our chance of protecting TPS
