Update - We have a quote for how much we will pay. Thankfully the insurance is covering half of it. But we will need $1400 for everything to be done. Now I have gotten some donations from you and thank you so much. If we could get $600 in aid at minimum that would help cover the repairs.

Unfortunately the TL;DR - Please help us pay for a very expensive AC part and the installation of it on the roof of a 2 story tall building in the middle of a summer that 113°F / 45°C is the norm. Paypal donation link here: tinyurl.com/5dy6j734

Me and my Wife are in Trouble. Our AC’s Compressor went out, so it is not going to be a small sum of money to fix/replace. It’s looking as if it is going to START at $1200 and most likely go higher. This sucks to say the least. I am asking for donations of any sort to help us cover even just a portion of that sum. It isn’t easy for me to keep asking for help. Hell I could probably replace the part myself if... the AC unit wasn’t on the roof of a 2 story Apartment with no access ladders because the building was built in the early 1970’s and not to a safety code that exists now. Remember, just because you may like them as people, doesn't mean they'd be great in a game with you. Session 0 is important! It doesn't have to be some hours long social slog but it's important to set expectations.

The players have very different tastes and expectations ranging from sexy furries to Doom.

Super Metroid. I don’t hate it but I’ve never gotten same enjoyment from it compared to Fusion/Prime onwards. It’s objectively a very well made game, but it just never clicked for me. And it’s not just only liking modern stuff either, cause I was addicted to SotN when I finally got around to it.
