After many weeks of waiting, I FINALLY got some great news about a 3-book deal I've been working on. First off, they loved the pitches. Second off, their notes were light and encouraging. Third off, i have the green light to get started on an outline! Time to get writing!

Apparently car dealerships don't do loaner cars anymore when you need to drop your car off for overnight service. Instead, it's $45 per day to rent a car (and if they can't get to it same day, you're already looking at $90 plus tax). So yeah, I'm in an Uber right now...

Been heading downtown during the day this week, to focus on writing without any distractions. It's been very productive. I was even able to fit in a few lunches with friends. Deadlines are hit for the week. A few edits and then turning these into my editor. 😀

I took a break from Dungeon Crawler Carl before I start book 8 (needed a palette cleanser), and started reading THE DEVILS by Joe Ambercrombie. I'm in love. This book is amazing.
