Built an account with 8k followers on the other platform that garnered millions of monthly impressions only for them to effectively kill the algorithms and now posts struggle to get 300 impressions. Feeling a bit defeated I won’t lie.

One of the crappy things about reviewing games early is not being able to talk about a game. What I can do is talk about what I just finished. Has anyone been playing Disciples: Domination? It didn’t have much hype but it’s a fun RPG! Just missed 3 achievements in it too.

My first review of 2026. I don’t play RPG’s much anymore as I don’t have the time for long games, but I’m glad I played Disciples: Domination. Definitely worth checking out imo.

Disciples: Domination Review

Today’s look back is one of my favourite games and series, Ace Combat 7. I was late to the Ace Combat party but I’ve been hooked ever since. 7 was a fantastic game and I’m surprised it isn’t talked about more. Stoked 8 is out this year. Have you played this one? #Xbox

Today’s look back is the visually stunning adventure game Abzu. This is an easy one for achievement hunters and is a must play 3-4 hour experience. Nothing like exploring the ocean. Did you play this one? #Xbox

Been super busy the last couple days so missed these, but today’s look back is the co-op gem A Way Out. While this isn’t quite on the same tier as the last couple Hazelight games, it is still a fantastic game. Have you played this one? #Xbox

So on top of the Metacritic news (still on a high about that) this bad boy showed up today too! One of the cooler collector editions I’ve seen and the packaging is so good I almost wanna display that too. Well done Bungie & Marathon.

This afternoon’s look back is imo one of the best games of last generation, A Plague Tale: Innocence. This game was gripping from beginning to end with an emotional story and good game play. Definitely a must play game. Have you played this one? #Xbox

Starting to go through my collection and highlight 2 games a day to talk about them! This mornings it is strategy game, 8-Bit Armies. Grabbed this during the height of my “collect just to collect” phase so I don’t actually know much about this one but it looks decent! Have you played this one?

The last month or so I’ve felt pretty burnt out, specifically on the website. I’ve written nearly 850 articles in 20 months, not to mention the back end stuff, emails etc etc. Thankfully I’m feeling recharged and super motivated for us to kill it in 2026. Sometimes you just need to recharge.

Revenge of the Savage Planet Review Get ready to get Gooey!

While May is finally a bit of a slower month for the AAA giants outside of Doom & Elden Ring, it’s a pretty stacked month for indies & AA. Hopefully a lot of people give these types of games a shot, they are usually hidden gems!

What’s everyone playing this weekend? I’m working unfortunately but my focus will be on Doom: The Dark Ages. Also got a fair bit of content coming for another game next week that I can’t talk about.
