Our School of Music at #UVic was excited to recently sponsor PODIUM 2026, Canada’s national bilingual choral conference & festival! Co-chaired by Music professor Adam Con & presented by Choral Canada, this May 14-17 event welcomed 400 delegates & 3,000 performers, all passionate about group singing!

Thrilled to have ethnobotanist, artist, IndigiFuturisms developer, community educator & Indigenous matriarch T’uy’t’tanat-Cease Wyss @uvic.ca as our 2026 Lehan Family Activism & the Arts lecturer: she visited classes, offered a VR showcase of her IndigiFuturisms work & gave a public lecture. Busy!
