My current PoeS.A project is "JustUs," a crowd-sourced poem on justice. My work is supported by a Camille Gage memorial fellowship. I loved and admired Camille and so this is a great honor. She always met moments of injustice with art-in-action. I'm humbled by her memory.

I really want ppl w/o Minneapolis connections to understand You might've heard that Mpls public schools went hybrid bc so many families are in hiding. Well, a coworker just told me that today, during his kid's hybrid class, a kid's apt building was raided onscreen *Everyone has stories like this*

There is a grave moral consequence to letting this go on. Shut down the government, have a general strike, grind the country to a halt, hit the streets. But not treating a demented administration lying about its thugs committing cold-blooded murder as an emergency? That is an emergency in itself.

I would like to tell you the wild dream I had this morning, but then you would all know that I watched that m-fer and The Great and sitcoms set in 1990's NYC before scrolling my suddenly quite queer socials. And I couldn't do that.
