Looking for ways to get around the National Park this weekend? Take away the stress of looking for a car parking space and hop aboard a shuttle bus instead. There are three public shuttle buses you can use including: -Wasdale Explorer -Buttermere shuttle bus from Cockermouth -Ullswater Hopper Bus

In early July, members of our Ranger team installed two bespoke bridges at Loft Beck and Far Easedale. The new bridges provide safer stream crossings in mountainous terrain for walkers, offering more accessible routes instead of stepping stones and uneven surfaces.

Young people from across six Cumbrian schools came together with 34 local employers in Grasmere last week to learn about skills and careers in the environment and heritage sector. Students were able to try practical activities such as dry-stone walling, hedge laying and lime plastering.
