JUNE 6th: A successful 'twitch' for this 'first for Britain' Western Reef Heron in Gwynedd! 😎 Despite the weather and gloomy conditions the heron showed really well early evening in Fforyd Bay, Caernarfon! My best efforts! 😊 #UKbirding

MAY 30h: A trip to Wales to catch up with an ol' pal turned spectacular. 😎 Male Hen Harrier kicked off the day quickly followed by, Spotted and Pied Flycatcher, Redstarts, numerous Red Kite, Wood Warbler, Tree Pipit and Dipper. Also SPB Fritillary. Nightjar rounded off the day. 😴😴😴 #UKbirding

April 12th: A visit to Slimbridge this morning... quite nice 😊 Immature Spoonbill, Tundra Bean Goose and Spotted Redshank were the star birds! Also notable, Avocet, good numbers of Bl-T Godwit, two Marsh Harrier and a handful of Common Crane. #UKbirding

April 8th: Spent a very pleasant day in glorious sunshine on the Severnside Patch with 'Team Saga' watching Little Ringed Plover, Wheatear and a spanking male Yellow Wagtail. Also present, Sandwich Tern, Dunlin, Ringed Plover. #UKbirding

March 26th: A bumble around locally: Notable were... Osprey (2+), Marsh Harrier (2) and drake Mandarin at CVLake. On 'The Levels' Marsh Harrier (6), Spotted Redshank, Common Crane (Meg), Bearded Tit and streaming flocks of Sand Martin. #UKbirding
