Thinking of continuing my TTRPG world talk but I'm a bit lost on where I go from here. Trying to think of what would be interesting to read but I kind of covered a big chunk of society and the different regions.

Primera's most popular sport: Elemball! #TTRPG Similar to our world's Volleyball, Elemball is played with a ball inscribed with magical grafts that absorb and expel magic to create different effects to shake up the sport's strategy and complexity.

Since I've covered all of the Races of Primera over the past week, I'll be moving onto some more general cultural information in my #TTRPG world: The tech level of Primera consists of early 2000's amenities with some slight differences.

Demons are shapeshifters #TTRPG Dark Magic is a unique type based in illusion and physical transformation, a trait reflected by the Demons that wield it. Throughout their formative years they eventually settle on a form that suits them, being so varied that not every subspecies has a name.

Primera's Pygmies control all Elements #TTRPG Other world's Halflings, Gnomes, Goblins and Kobolds are instead combined under the umbrella of the Pygmy race in Primera. All of them have some control over Lightning, while each subspecies lives in a vastly different society.

Avians are isolated in the mountains #TTRPG The winged Avians live in the mountain peaks of Zenest, Primera's largest and most prominent mountain range. Their power over Air Magic and the constant gusts from the rich deposits of Air Crystals allow them to easily travel to and from their homes.

Aquans live on the land and deep in the sea #TTRPG The fish-like Aquans live in the Afloni sea and marshlands, their power over water and their reliance on moisture making them feel at home. Aquans live under Primera's last monarchy: The Queen of the Mother Pearl Throne.

Draconics hold power over Fire and Ice #TTRPG In the northern tundras of Cragra the Draconics live and thrive due to their body temperature adapting to the bitter cold. Unlike other races, they are split into two groups: Fire Draconics and Ice Draconics.

Bestials come in many varieties #TTRPG Quinfera is a massive swatch of forest, jungle, and swampland that are teeming with Bestial tribes and settlements. Secular tribes consisting of one species are common in the woods, but many Bestials are seen abroad near woodland and farmsteads.

The Elves of Primera do not live in trees #TTRPG The plains and deserts of Celarc are home to the caravans of the nomadic Elves, a pointed eared race with affinity for Light Magic. They are diviners and nomads, making predictions using patterns in the stars and traveling according to them.

Primera's Humans! #TTRPG Emela, the homeland of the Humans, is rich with minerals and metals formed by concentrations of Earth Magic. Earth Magic is limited by not being able to be created from the body, manipulation of stone and rarely metal is what allowed Humans to expand their early kingdoms.

I don't post enough so I'm gonna be trying to yap at least once a day about the #TTRPG world I've been developing with a group of friends throughout the past few years. It's called Primera, a World of Elements bound by a Cycle. It's in a late 90's tech level with fantasy elements.

Playing some Palworld with friends. I started late and passed them in levels since I've been exploring, while they've been focused on building "THE MONOLITH"

The main issue with having everyone share the same brain cell is that you can end up shopping in a single store for 20 minutes. We still had a lot of fun though!

ID's team is responsible for 3D Computer Graphics framework that has shaped gaming and the entire FPS genre with DOOM and other successful titles. Microsoft is axing people who helped build the gaming space and are squeezing them for as much money as possible before they replace them with AI.

If they ended up decimating id Software's tech team then I have no faith in anything they'll ever do again under the current leadership. Between last week and today's news...I just don't know what to say at this point.

Tomorrow night I'm going to be streaming our #TTRPG with chat game after a long hiatus! We're going to be controlling Ayah, a quirky rogue with too many voices in her head as she tries to navigate her way through the multiverse. Ocarina of Time's land of Hyrule is now in danger of her antics.

A stream overlay showing character statistics, inventory, and an isometric map of "The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time"'s Kokiri Forest. There is a character portrait of a smug girl with short silver hair, blue eyes, and pointed ears in the upper corner.

I streamed Deltarune for 11 hours yesterday and I can say that Chapter 5 is the longest by far. Even with scouring everything in the game's Pacifist route I'm still finding things in a second play through. The Toby Fox team are madmen for having this many dialogue variants.

Been working on TTRPG stuff lately. Plan to bring back my little series where I have Twitch chat control the character and game using redeems and text-to-speech. I recently got art redone of one of our characters and am gathering materials to run a game with her 👀
