Alright, mates. I wrote a book - The Cage that Wisdom Built - give it a read, if you fancy 📖 https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B09PHHCKB1 Currently writing my second novel, & a psychology forward children’s book with my PhD twin sis. she/her #amwriting

The Winter Olympics unlocks pre-phone entertainment memories for me: sofa lounging, TV on, throwing a ball at your siblings for hours, toast on fire under the grill, and panicking that the car across the road was spies.

I know this is insanely niche… but does anyone on here happen to have any information on Dutch Pinks (pinck or pinque) from the 18th century? I’m writing a book that’s meant to be set on one and these are the only sorts of references I’m finding… HELP! #maritime #history

I’m at that stage of editing where I either have too little memory of the story, and I’m like, “wow, I can’t believe that happens,” or I know the story and scene so well that I have to read it word for word to really understand what’s going on #amediting

Why does everyone keep telling me that Stephen King can write a book in a few months? I wish, babes, but half of my writing time is actually spent on synonym searches. Literally only on the second novel of my 4 decades of life, and *that* pace is killing me!

Last night at the Sydney Opera House was pretty epic. It’s such an iconic building and seeing a live orchestra there was simply incredible. The musicians are so talented, and I found that I wanted to close my eyes to be immersed in it. Almost brought a tear to my eye if I wasn’t so dead inside.

Standing in front of the Sydney Opera House. Ooh she’s got a red lip 💄 Small glass of champagne because I drank it 🥂 The Sydney Opera House at nightHis n’ hers shoes

Where does the weekend start for you? Are you a Saturday morning person? Friday night or, maybe afternoon (?) like me Thursday night type of personality (?!) - there’s an argument for it Could you really be that optimistic? WEDNESDAY LUNCHTIME (!!?)

It’s the time of year where my neighbours do me a kick arse (not necessarily asked for) dance party. Last summer it was remixed Madonna at midnight, and today it’s started with what can only be described as an ethereal afternoon club rave 👏 Happy weekend #london

Anyone fancy having a read of my novel and giving it a sweet little review? It’s quite a relevant book for our times I think, asking questions about how we fit in with what’s around us, and whether or not we should. You can find it on Amazon and Good Reads if you’re so inclined ❤️ 📖 #booksky
