For many Russian-speaking Jewish adults, reconnecting with their heritage has been a journey years in the making. Thanks to our partner COJECO, a cohort of participants celebrated their Adult B’nai Mitzvah in a beautiful and moving ceremony – fulfilling a dream that once seemed out of reach.

Last night, nearly 3,000 people gathered for Israeli-American Night, hosted by our partners at Jewish Community Relations Council Long Island and Sid Jacobson JCC, for a celebration of Israeli heritage, culture, music, food, and community.

After purchasing 20,000 bags of Bamba in response to the Park Slope Food Coop’s boycott of Israeli products, we loaded a truck with 7 pallets headed to Met Council, where they’ll be distributed through its network of food pantries.

Today, on #HolocaustSurvivorDay, we honor the extraordinary strength and resilience of Holocaust survivors. Alongside our partner, Selfhelp Community Services, survivors came together for an afternoon of music, conversation, and community.

Last week, we traded meetings and emails for a day at camp. ☀️ We partnered with Trybal Gatherings to bring more than 200 professionals from over 35 Jewish organizations to Ramah Day Camp for NY Camp Day.

We had a (matzah) ball when the Manischewitz truck visited UJA yesterday! 🚚🌭 Our staff noshed on soup, hot dogs, and knishes while enjoying some fresh air – a perfect lunch break, if you ask us. Thanks for rolling on by, Manischewitz.
