A new tap on me, but with a lot of my old kit inside 🤣 These guys first went commercial cuckoo brewing on my kit, and have gone from strength to strength.
Staying at Steelfish. This collab between @steelfishbrewco.bsky.social and @torrside.bsky.social was brewed just over a year ago. This is the last ever cask and it really is superb and has kept a huge amount of resiny hoppiness. Dangerously drinkable.

Its only been open two weeks, but I’ve been to @steelfishbrewco.bsky.social Taproom three times. Im quite enjoying it. Throwback railway arch taproom vibes, now with added pickled eggs.
The cheese & onion cobs at @steelfishbrewco.bsky.social are delicious and the Green Hop Bitter is a perfect match. Yum.
This week we had the pleasure of being invited down by our pals and Manchester beer stalwarts Sureshot to brew a collaboration beer. Plenty of discussion on techniques, processes, ingredients and products meant it was a real school day for us, and we’re really looking forward to the release.

Yesterday we headed down to New Mills to the legends that are @torrsidebrewing to co-host a brew day with Stuart Evans who recently won the ‘Mild & Brown Ale’ category in the @skbeerfestival Homebrew Competition with his American Brown Ale recipe…….
Trade friends, we’re down to a handful of cask Pale Ales and Pilsner kegs. Beers for Easter ? Give us a shout 👍
Evening all, lots currently happening behind the scenes at Steelfish HQ (more news on that to follow) however one immediate job at hand is to empty and move out of our much loved coldstore…….
Perfect Valley’ Pale Ale, a little Pacific Coast homage featuring a Columbus, Strata and Cascade hop trio for citrus / pine notes, crisp and refreshing. Drinking in fine form yesterday….making the most of the weather for outside pints !!
