I’ve been recommending my hosting provider All-Inkl to clients, friends and everyone who asked for almost 20 years, but their total lack of communication on today’s PHP issue seems really unprofessional.

I’m wondering about the term “vibe coding”. If you describe a look and feel and have no idea about possible implementation methods, the term sounds fitting. But if you give clear technical instructions to an AI, is that still vibe coding?

I hate that sharing Google Maps links is the standard for sharing locations in my circle of friends. As long as there’s no universal map link standard, just send me the name or address and I can look it up myself.

First time in a long time I’m watching an Apple event, and it’s soo boring. It took an hour to get to the thing everyone was waiting for, and even that is mostly boring.

9 out of 10 sites being submitted via the submission form on collected.li are mindless promo without even a custom design (which would be the minimum requirement). including the form at all was an experiment in the first place, and i think i will have to remove it again.

Of course, I factor Deutsche Bahn delays into my travel plans so I’m prepared. But they have another trick up their sleeve: they can always just cancel the trip altogether.

It really bothers me when a North East Arrow ↗ is used on a website for anything other than indicating external links.
