#OnThisDay in 1993, the Motor Voter Act was signed into law, expanding voter registration access for millions of Americans. 32 years later, SCOTUS gutted Section 2 of the Voting Rights Act in Louisiana v. Callais. This fight isn't over, though. LWV will continue to fight for voting rights for all.
