Nina Jankowicz

@ninajankowicz.com

🙅🏻‍♀️ Author (2 books & The Wayfinder newsletter), disinformation expert, advocate for targets of online abuse. ☀️ CEO, @americansunlight.org 😆 Tucker Carlson once called me a “highly self confident young woman” and meant it as an insult

TIL I was nearly “given complete control of the internet” News to me! It’s been 4 yrs since these men started fantasizing about me, and with each passing day the plot gets wilder. They should try their hand at romance novels, though tbh their current jobs (monetized liars) are just as lucrative.

Quote Tweet from Mike cernovich including picture of Nina Jankowicz: “ I am not a Trump worshiper, that would be a dollar tree, and I also have no patience for those wishing Trump had not won. Maybe people were not paying attention? I was. I lived it. This woman was about to be given complete control over the Internet.

Hearing is adjourned. I hope Senators aren't misled by Rogers' favorite line: "I will not be making day-to-day editorial decisions at USAGM." Her leadership of the Agency will set the tone of coverage, and she says she will give guidance about US foreign policy priorities (cont)

In her opening remarks, Rogers says she "thought of journalists across [USAGM] in the line of fire" during the WHCD. She seems to forget most of them were fired by Kari Lake, some sent back to countries where their very association with the Agency would put their lives at risk

This morning, the Senate will hold a confirmation hearing for Sarah Rogers to lead the US Agency for Global Media. She's been branded a free speech crusader but she's just another MAGA loyalist only concerned with protecting the speech of Trump and his allies. www.thewayfinder.net/p/the-maga-l...

Sarah Rogers has been branded a free speech champion. Her record tells a different story.

“The same set of people who cried “censorship” about fact-checking and disinformation research and tools are perfectly fine with a machine running an opaque, probabilistic model being used for deterministic conclusions that could affect people’s reputations and livelihoods.”

Protip: When you're rolling out a new transparency tool, don't get Matt Taibbi of all people to flog it www.thewayfinder.net/p/substacks-...

A Man on LinkedIn has just informed me that Trump *does* care about election security, actually! He said my analysis was based on “public perception rather than evidence” Silly me, I must have hallucinated January 6 and hundreds of other anti democratic events since then 🙃

A quick explainer for @msnowreports.bsky.social on Trump’s speech. We need to recognize it, and any actions that follow, for what they are: cynical ploy to weaponize a serious national security threat as a pretext to deprive us of our rights. www.ms.now/opinion/trum...

Opinion | Trump's Thursday speech should be recognized for what it truly was

The address was embarrassing, but it nevertheless must be taken seriously as preparation for a new election interference campaign.

incredible -- more than two hours into this morning's Fox & Friends, "fraud" has not been mentioned a single time and hosts haven't discussed Trump's big primetime speech at all. They have 787 million reasons to ignore it.

I’m gonna say something that some folks won’t like: I don’t really care if Mitch McConnell’s team used photoshop to make him appear healthier. I have a few pics of my dad when he was undergoing a stem cell transplant, and later when he was dying of multiple myeloma. 1/
