#vote #VOTEearly Felt so good to get this done and over to the county dropbox. Now I can go after friends and neighbors to make sure they vote. 😁

#cats A quiet cloudy day with the senior cats at Heartsthatpurr.org Cooler temperatures let us open up our nice catios. They enjoy the cool breezes and the new smells while being totally secure with lots of opportunities to explore or just snooze. It's a bit overcast today so not the best pictures.

#sunset #Arizona A few clouds threatening in the east and the west and some booming thunder about three times from the west behind the Tucson Mountains and then nothing. 😢 Made for a pretty sunset tonight though.

#Resist I cannot believe what I am reading these days. 😡😢😡😢 The war criminals have brought the war home, and the enemy is us, Americans.

#Arizona I had hoped the three-digit weather was over but no, it hit 100° today. I have three roofers finishing up a job in this heat. I keep taking out ice water and cold drinks and treats but they just continue on. Se habla español por supuesto. Such good guys

If I were Susan Collins, I might say that this is concerning. #Bioterrorism

#October #DiaDeLosMuertos Time to change the tablecloth until early Nov. I bought the fabric online to make a Hawaiian style shirt for my husband but the scale of the pattern was all wrong. I sure miss local fabric stores where you can see things IRL. But I've gotten some good tablecloths out it! 😁

#recall #TraderJoes Oh joy, now it's not just Walmart, It's also Trader Joe's. 🍓🫐

#cats A new resident named Ritz. He's 14 with the long sleek lines of a panther and a very handsome face. He is quite food motivated and vocal while he's waiting for a snack. Heartsthatpurr.org

#cats 18-Year-Old Roscoe is a striped tiger rabby with dementia. He calms down when he sits on my lap and I give him a massage and rub him down with microfiber cloths. He does not like to pose for pictures heartsthatpurr.org

Just another GOP ploy to gut Arizona's public schools. Please vote NO on this. It doesn't hold the private and religious schools to the same standard, of course.

#pumpkin #Costco It's that time of year. If you were my neighbor I would be bringing you a quarter of the pie so I don't feel guilty for buying one.

#cats Two new residents at Kitty Ranch. Both had been surrendered to local rescue Claws & Paws after their person developed dementia. Sadly the C&P founder died recently w/ no succession plan & the cats needed placement. We took the most senior. Daisy 18, Ritz 14. Stay tuned!😽😽💕 Heartsthatpurr.org

#rain #Arizona The little wash behind our house at the bottom of a small hill is flowing very nicely. Sound up to hear all the happy birds. 🐦 This will flow into the Camino de Oeste wash about a quarter mile from here then that wash flows into the Santa Cruz River about a quarter mile away.

#salt #Arizona Giving up on the deer finding it. Now we're just buying it for the javelinas.

#rain #Arizona Lots of clouds and a gentle rain. This is looking west toward the Tucson Mountains but they're all socked in with clouds. 🌧️😁 I hope this continues all day long. Slow rains give everything a chance to soak in and not turn into flash floods.

@hakeem-jeffries.bsky.social Hey-a note from an Arizona citizen. Do you really think sending me 2 texts a day to a phone number I try to keep private is helping? Do you think it helps when I text 🛑 and you continue to send me shit?Your sell-by date is long past dude.Pelosi has a lot to answer for.

#Arizona #rain Sure hope we get some rain out of this!

Alrighty then. The new PDF book is live. It's another "pay want you want" model but this time I did set a minimum of 1 dollar. 44 pages, heavily illustrated and hand lettered. I made it as difficult on myself as possible. #writers #cartoons #KidLit #Children'sBooks ko-fi.com/post/ORZO-GE...

#cat #bobcat Went out now in the early evening to do my daily check on our western screech owl in his box and there was a new visitor ON his box. 😀This is a young guy, probably under a year and born in the spring here in the neighborhood. We do love our bobcats!

#cats I spent about an hour grooming our newest little resident Puff. ♥️😽 She had mats and a dirty bottom so there was a lot of cleaning, combing and a sani trim. She was a little champ and after it started to groom herself which is a very good sign. Heartsthatpurr.org She sees the vet tomorrow.🐾💕1/2

Done for today, more knitting tomorrow.

#cats Heading out to take care of some grooming needs on our newest little resident, Puff. She's 17 and came from a rough situation but she's in Kitty Paradise now. 😽♥️ Heartsthatpurr.org

#Arizona #sunset Not 5 minutes before this was taken the sky that is orange and pink was golden yellow. Amazing sky this evening.
