Quoting to emphasize this: Lancey groomed & abused Red + others. This is indefensible & unacceptable. This *is not* equivalent to being a predator nor pedophile. A 2 year age difference is not pedophilia. This *does not* mean what she did wasn't "as bad", nor that she's exempt from consequences.

leaking gapple and spreading the leak is deeply disrespectful to everyone who worked on it that isn't lancey/ruby/sky. Also it's keeping attention on the mod when I know a lot of y'all have been insisting to keep this about the victims

I'm just gonna say it, I don't think you should have leaked the latest version of Golden Apple. Many of you are acting without giving yourselves time to reflect, you are acting with the same hate you had for Red at the time, and hate leads nowhere. Please, wait and have some time to think first.

things will keep moving forwards. lancey didnt have any involvement in DDE and its unlikely her contributions for the main DnB series will make it in officially either. do not catastrophize topics surrounding the media and care about the real people instead.

i do see some people saying things like "ohhhh ok so dave and bambi is dead now" and i feel like not only is it incredibly insensitive that is the primary thing they are getting out of it but also gapple has become... ultimately a way smaller part of this community

Nothing about this situation makes it okay to bother, bully, insult, threaten, or otherwise harass ANYONE. This shitshow started bc ppl couldnt resist harassing a teenager for 3 years without even knowing why they were doing it. We don't have to repeat these mistakes

All I'll say for now is do not engage with people who are being reductionist, inflammatory, or unserious about this situation. Twitter is being Twitter and it's going to be bad for a while. Take care of yourselves and be respectful to the victims.
