We're a pan-European research project investigating how climate change affects harmful microbes and drug-resistant bacteria in coastal waters, and what this means for human health.

🏄 It’s kick-off time! Our final conference on building resilience and reducing risks in coastal environments has begun. We need to go beyond disease prevention – access to safe blue spaces encourages physical activity, and social engagement. Protecting it is important for our livelihood.

Did you know that we're all exposed to viruses and bacteria in coastal areas? The converging pressures of climate change and pollution increase risks of us becoming infected and ill and social inequalities make these risks even worse.
