PSA for fellow vegans: saying that people aren’t great because they’re not vegan is not the right way to go about convincing people to stop consuming animal products. After 9 years, I’ve realized we can’t force folks to go vegan (or vegetarian), & we need to be respectful of everyone’s journey.
I highly recommend watching The AI Doc, a documentary from earlier this year (by the director of the Oscar-winning Navalny). Very informative, thought-provoking, and at times frightening.

Forget the actual tech reasons for a second. You should really be worried about the lack of transparency combined with incompetence. (thread)

They make you think you need to do all this work to appreciate what is ultimately a 3 hour commercial for the next movie. You don’t. But they reveal their contempt for intellectualizing cinema by using these words that sound smart to promote capeshit
