Makes the comics. Creator/writer/artist of sci-fi bounty hunter Mercy St. Clair:TREKKER. Past work: DC, Dark Horse, Marvel, etc. WARNING: Also spins vinyl while drawing and overshares about that. trekkerkickstarter.com
A mini delight. I picked up this first chapter in @mikerussell.bsky.social and @cattifer.bsky.social's THE GREAT TRAIN HAUNTING yarn, a flawless blend of Mike's crisp, clever writing and Cat's ridiculously cute and evocative art. Hit her Etsy to grab a copy: www.etsy.com/listing/4577...
Just fiddling around on this commission from the last Trekker campaign on this watercolor with Mercy and Molly in the roles of Holmes and Watson.
Awright-- break (ie, Rose City Comic Con) is over-- time to package up all of these backer bonus rewards from the TREKKER: THE TIES THAT BIND campaign and get ready for fulfillment. The glamorous road to making #MoreTrekkerMoreOften continues!
THANK YOU to the fans, friends, fellow creators and to the staff and crew that made Rose City Comic Con 2026 such a fun and successful weekend. I was thrilled to reconnect with so many wonderful people over these past three days, and can’t wait to do it again in 2027. See you then!
See Parker stat if you need to know about motion smoothing. Not even kidding here, friends.
I lure ‘em in with the books, and then tell ‘em how to turn off Motion Smoothing 📺
Well now I wish I was goin’ to BCC this year dang it.

Just in case you were wondering, yes, trekkies love Trekker. And seriously, I’m almost outta books for this show so jet on over to get in on the… um…Trek.
BY REQUEST! Here’s a cheat sheet with Rose City Comic Con table locations for some of the comics people I drew on the cover of the deluxe Superman’s Pal Jimmy Olsen. I have printed slips at my table! Take your hardcover around Artists Alley and have them sign the bowties! #rccc
I feel like having a comic con. How about you? See you this weekend at Portland’s Rose City Comic Con, Artist Alley table C-06 @rosecitycc.bsky.social
This weekend! Rose City Comic Con (@rosecitycc.bsky.social) will find me at AA Table C-06. It's my hometown show, it's 3 big days, and it'll be a comics celebration. See you there!
A nice moment from ten years ago. We still don’t have Trekker in theaters or streaming, but I do have this rather nifty signed photo. The vision of Katee Sackhoff as Mercy warms the heart, doesn’t it?
Sunday matinee concert. Leonard Cohen Live In London, 7/17/2008 Leonard Cohen's sophisticated, worldly music, and his darkly smokey voice, are probably best suited for a late night cabaret show, but a cloud-shrouded, rainy afternoon such as I'm currently enjoying also works as a fitting setting.
Name five artists that wouldn't want to be Joni Mitchell. Okay, that's a trick question. Every artist would want to be Joni Mitchell. I mean, obviously.
Double-tap time! Just a quick note that the new COVID vaccine for '26-'27 is out now, and available at *some* locations. We just popped in to get our flu shots, and when I asked when the new COVID jabs would be coming in, they said, "We got 'um", so 2 pokes it was and, unusually, just before RCCC.
Working on the last chapter of this big TREKKER journey that I kicked off with Dark Horse forty(!) years ago has both me and Mercy reflecting on some highlights from her past. Immensely grateful for crowdfunding and the backer support that's made it possible to reach this long-planned resolution.
Look, I hate to brag, but this weather here on the Oregon coast is the absolute bomb.
Pro tip: When drawing, for goodness' sake please remember to be listening to Annie Lennox. You're welcome.
SIX HOURS to go on the latest @heroinitiative.bsky.social auction, which features this Bamf-y little cover by me. Pop on over and check out the whole line up of classy sketch covers. Auction ends at 6pm Pacific! www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?i...
World keeps getting more ridiculous, to put it mildly. Might be good for the heart to pause and appreciate some more musicians, all in their eighties and still with us, who've been bringing us rich musical gifts for decades.
Sometimes all ya need is a good, strong listen to Johnny playing this amazing set from PBS's great Austin City Limits series.
Weekend Concert! This massive four-record set from Kate Bush, documenting her return to the stage after a 35-year (!) absence, is NOT the place to start with Kate. But for the serious Kate-ophile, it's got plenty of immaculate performances and works as a terrific, extensive career overview.
Four Eighty. In the light of Dolly and Tim Curry's recent passings, I've been playing some of the giants that we still have among us. Here's four, all over eighty. These aren't their most iconic albums, but examples of how rich their bodies of work are. And don't even get me started on Dylan...
Uh oh. I might not be here much for a little while. Bunch of Breccia to digest. Blame @stevelieberart.bsky.social. Bad influencer.
Oh Sh!t! New TREKKER page up early on Patreon, with process notes, where I show and tell the steps and thinking behind each Trekker page, one page per week. Buckle up and sign up at www.patreon.com/trekker
