God. This so much. I want my single player story games with set endings. To add to this, I want just one route. If they (fortune's) weave together, that's fine. But I'm tired of all the route arguments of what's canon. Just a simple straight line story experience. Mario, Sly Cooper, Persona, FF7.

Day 29: Final Boss - K. Rool, King of Rot Battle [Donkey Kong Bananza] The end is nigh. The last three themes are always the same every year. I really enjoyed Donkey Kong Bananza. The gameplay was fun, the world was good to look at (and destroy).

Day 28: Gone Fishin' - Reel Rumble [Final Fantasy XV] One last sillier prompt before we start getting to the finale. I've only played early pieces of the FF15, couldn't really get into it. But the fact that it has a fishing minigame with what could be battle music is very amusing to me.

7/15 - Backyard Baseball - I'm not a sports guy, but I really enjoyed the Backyard Sports games as a kid. Maybe it was because I didn't leave the house much, so getting to draft a bunch of kids my age and take them to the championships was fun. And the gameplay was nice and simple too.

Day 26: Chocobo GP - Bluegrass de Chocobo [Chocobo GP] It's a shame that Square Enix decided to load this game up with microtransactions out the KWEH-zoo and then cancel further updates when they learned that players weren't biting.

7/14 - Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn - (God I'm behind on this, I'm working on it!) Anyways. I love FF14. I started playing it early in Endwalker and I've had a great time. Even in A Realm Reborn where some people say it's too long or just boring. But personally, I thought it was great.

7/13 - Croc 2 - Truthfully, I don't remember much about Croc 2. I know my brother and I played it like we did the first game, and we enjoyed it. That's unfortunately the extent of my memory. Hmm, Argonaut Games remake the first Croc last year... maybe the sequel is getting a remake soon? 👀
