I'd support banning emotos except licensed motorcycles while keeping class 3. I'd also probably back class 3 sales restrictions and maybe consider bans. What I definitely fear is a NJ-style outlawing of normal bikes because people picture kids on electric dirt bikes when they hear "ebike".

ok my actual take here is that, while I don’t think they should make them illegal, I do think an e-bike that does >20mph (so, all class 3 bikes) are dangerous
