Magic is one of Bruce's best latter career records because half of it sounds like Sugar with a saxophone tidal.com/track/824314...

How I look at you whenever you suggest listening to something other than Bruce Springsteen
One version gets bongos, one version gets 4 layers of guitar
My crappy lap steel playing hasn't made it to any final versions of anything but it's always a fun little experiment
Hey. It’s Bandcamp Friday. We put out an album this year and it kicks so much ass. Check it out. We have LPs and CDs. Oh whoa, check out that shirt? Cool huh? Buy some stuff! labradortunes.bandcamp.com/album/the-ro...
So called free thinkers when I say Shot of Love is a really good Bob Dylan record
Perennial fans! It’s Bandcamp Friday, which means 100% of sales go directly to artists! Our upcoming album ‘Modernism’ is currently available for preorder, including a bunch of limited edition bundles! perennialtheband.bandcamp.com/album/modernism
Never forget that Woody Guthrie said "this machine KILLS fascists"
This new single comes out in less than 2 weeks, it would be super cool if somebody wanted to premier it early or something
I'm taking up the tradition of the great "singer-songwriter's with a band" that inspire me the most. E Street, Heartbreakers, Crazy Horse. I'm proud of myself and the growth I have made as a writer, singer and lately as de facto producer so I'm putting my name out there. New single comes out on 8/18
My favorite REM record is the one they made with Warren Zevon
Episode 387: Electrify Me by The Plugz (1979) available now This week Dylan was assigned the year and he selected The Plugz debut album. One of the earliest Latino fronted punk bands, and Electrify Me was one of the first punk LPs from California Check out the episode at linktr.ee/punklottopod
The final boss of power pop
I'm building the band up through a sort of pyramid scheme, everybody has to recruit another musician to play with us, I will have a massive downline

Trying out two recipes on the same song at the moment, psychy country rock and rootsy post-punk(almost like Wall of Voodoo?)
This will go nowhere but it reminds me that old myspace and old facebook used to work a lot better for artists - just to have facebook style event pages again would be huge

Probably just another clown, working on something big

If somebody wants to give me some money to make and promote a record though I will hold up my end
I'm not really chasing numbers but I want to see somebody say something nice about the new single when it comes out but the amount of work it takes to send emails makes me have sympathy for the kids who just pump money into ads and submithub type shit to get the fake numbers up
Dedication to proofreading, not so much
Next single in August, another one banked for September, need to wrap up the next one after that - dedication to hour craft over chasing numbers - I'm having fun and getting better at everything I try
