Ever have an old post pop up in your timeline and you think, "Yes, this" and then realize it's one of yours? Better than thinking, "Who is this idiot now?" I guess.

I also think about Elon saying Biden's DOJ wouldn't prosecute Sam Bankman-Fried because he was a Dem donor... followed by Biden's DOJ nailing SBF, who now posts about how awesome Trump is so he can get a pardon.
Casey Michel@cjcmichel.bsky.social · 6h agoOr the fact that it was Biden's DOJ that oversaw the prosecution of **Bob Menendez**—or launched the investigation of Eric Adams! None of that mattered. People screaming about the politicization of the DOJ under Biden continued screaming the same thing.
I think he's overestimating how many people were even aware of Trump's convention, but I love the vibe here.

Went to see Jon Meacham speak tonight and he gave a funny and apt talk. Then we got to the Q & A and I clenched, like I always do. But the questions were actually thoughtful and interesting. Then the last guy went to the mic and claimed Trump was protecting the constitution and Democrats are evil.
this really is impeachable for any president, but really grotesque coming from a regime that cut life-saving development aid because they said it was not efficient

Every time I see Jack Smith speak in public I remember how incredibly cautious he was about doing so during the investigation lest he appeared politically motivated or biased. And now we have the actual AG out here basically saying, “Yeah I’m team Trump, what are you bitches gonna do about it?”
I get giddy seeing so many polls showing a Democratic advantage but then I remember the Des Moines Register 2024 final Iowa Poll and unlike MAGA try to learn from history.
