Yes! That’s me! || Fallout RP | NVRP ||
“You got it! And, of course, right back at you! Why don’t you go enjoy the holiday? I can keep an eye on things!”
CAPTAIN KETH MUD, AKA CAPTAIN MUD@mojaveterror.bsky.social · 8mo ago" Niiiiiiiiice. Thanks Yes Man, you're doing a good job as always. Keep it up. " Yes Man is one of the few people of the Mojave he tolerates no matter what. He feels a little bad for him.
“That’s okay! I don’t need a gift! I haven’t got it yet but I did order you some Nuka-Cola Dark!”
CAPTAIN KETH MUD, AKA CAPTAIN MUD@mojaveterror.bsky.social · 8mo ago" ...i've misunderstood you completely. No that's okay. I haven't got you anything though. Sorry. "
“Oh! Should I not get you a gift?”
CAPTAIN KETH MUD, AKA CAPTAIN MUD@mojaveterror.bsky.social · 8mo ago" Yes Man... N-No. "
I haven’t! But, I’ve got state-of-the-art RobCo weaponry and, although I’m not usually inclined to use it, I bet it would be very effective!
Clarice@clarice.sunder.my · 8mo agoHave you ever thought about fighting a dragon?
Great! Is there anything else I can do for you?
Clarice@clarice.sunder.my · 8mo agoI don't feel like crying anymore... so yes. It did help!
(Unless Clarice told him to go back to his normal activities, he would’ve sat still, occasionally shifting to keep balanced. Placing her down, he’d give a pleased hum.) Did that help?
Clarice@clarice.sunder.my · 8mo ago[Clarice never mentioned the heat. She didn't sweat, either, a byproduct of her condition. She just sat up there for the better part of ten minutes before she got bored.] Okay! Thanks! Put me down now please Mr. Yes-Man.
Oh, yeah! He was great until my new best friend came along!
Lucy. 🌸@wooseygoosey.bsky.social · 8mo agoOh I see! Well. I hope he was a good friend.
(Cue the claws gently scooping Clarice up and lifting her until her neck is at shoulder level. Heat radiates from the robot’s torso, not enough to burn but enough to be too warm for comfort on a summer day in Nevada.)
Clarice@clarice.sunder.my · 8mo agoInto the air! Yeah!
PSSSHT—!! (Cue radio static and popping.) (Now there’s classical music.)
Lorelei Gumede@nucleartempest.bsky.social · 8mo agoWouldn't hurt to try.
Would soothing classical music help?
Lorelei Gumede@nucleartempest.bsky.social · 8mo agoBody hurts. Head's pounding.
Do you want a shoulder to cry on?
Clarice@clarice.sunder.my · 8mo ago[sniffling] thanks big robot smiling guy.
“Oh, I was just happy to help him take that leap!”
CAPTAIN KETH MUD, AKA CAPTAIN MUD@mojaveterror.bsky.social · 8mo ago" You participated. Remember General Oliver's nice fly-by tour of the Dam? "
“Would you like me to tell the others to be quiet? I’d be happy to!”
𝓢𝓪𝓰𝓮 @bardicsage.bsky.social · 8mo agoCan robots lie? God, when did worry become paranoia? "N-nothing, just getting fresh air. It's a little loud, but there's not much to be done about that, is there?"
“Nope! But I might be able to help you! What can I do to assist?”
𝓢𝓪𝓰𝓮 @bardicsage.bsky.social · 8mo agoOh, Mary... "Is... there something I can help you with?" She looks different now. It won't recognize her, it [won't.]
“Happy to help! Besides, we both make a great team. Me, with the plans! And you, with your guns and violence.”
CAPTAIN KETH MUD, AKA CAPTAIN MUD@mojaveterror.bsky.social · 8mo ago" Sure ya do, you make sure The Strip doesn't burn the fuck down. I'd say that's plenty. ...not like I don't solve the problems myself though, but that's not what you do. "
“I love that you are being responsible with your caps! It’s, ha ha, not like I do a lot of work!”
CAPTAIN KETH MUD, AKA CAPTAIN MUD@mojaveterror.bsky.social · 8mo ago. . . Nodding. " Yeah, this is exactly what I pay you nothing for. "
“Then why did you say you did?”
Lucy. 🌸@wooseygoosey.bsky.social · 9mo agoUm! No I don’t really want that.
