Ive been making music lately — hoping to share soon and incorporate music videos etc. It’s ambitious but the world might end so what else do I have left but to create?

The festival closes with PNW directing/acting talent. Come support your fam! A Seat at the Table [USA] A Wedding to Diego [USA] Controlling the Narrative [USA] Hell is Cool [Aotearoa] Mean Goals [USA] Mickaela: Connection | Isolation [USA] Ornaments [USA] Room for the Rest [Canada] Unmasking [USA]

The project was also influenced by my own traumatic injury. I suffered a skull fracture during the ice storm of 2024. I slipped on ice on concrete steps and hit the back of my head so hard that I actually lost my memory for 10 hours. I think Ornaments explores fears of losing all that you love.

2022 Skinamarink found footage homemade horror influenced my own project Ornaments where I wanted to create an atmosphere of a childhood nightmare. I used footage from my own childhood VHS memories to turn childhood innocence into a scary realization that the past is only an ornament.

I created this account with the horror slumber party moniker which is used to showboat my VHS tapes but I think this will become sort of just a landing page for all things in that horror realm. I want to create horror movies in particular that focus around queer identities and themes.
