Based on a true story of tragedy and injustice (RTO policies) I showed this to a friend who was unfamiliar with the term "gong show". Apparently it might be a Canadianism? I was unaware. #makeaterriblecomicday #makeaterriblecomicday2026

Hey artists, if you see this, post a dog! In my D&D group, my character's geist is often referred to as a "weird dog"

#CreaturesOfTheLongestNight prompt 19: Dawn When the first rays of sunrise reach them they open up to reveal their own light. When the sun fully rises they crumble to dust. People say the source of their light are "dawn pearls" that form inside them, but this is likely just a myth. I finished! :D
#CreaturesOfTheLongestNight prompt 18: Thaw They layer themselves in icy armour and stampede across the snowy plains. When the long sunrise approaches their armour begins to melt away.
Played a smol part in helping this game, it’s such a cool concept! Please support this team 🙌✨
Relooted Is A Big Black Middle Finger To History Controlled By White People:
#CreaturesOfTheLongestNight prompt 16: Drink Dregs are pests that get in your drink and absorb it all into their clear, gelatinous bodies. They have no organs, stomping or slicing them just creates more dregs. Most taverns keep a pot boiling to toss 'em in. Some recipes use boiled "drunk dregs".
#CreaturesOfTheLongestNight prompt 16: Sprout Snowdrop scorpions bury themselves in the snow with only their tails and pincers visible, to camouflage themselves in clusters of snowdrops. They tend their hunting grounds like personal gardens.
#CreaturesOfTheLongestNight prompt 11: Fog and prompt 12: Lights Havenmaws emerge when the fog is dense, their massive mouths mimic caves with nearby drifters to draw in prey seeking safe shelter. Worryingly some have apparently begun glowing yellow, resembling houses or campfires in the fog...
QRP with your wings art! Done for an art challenge on RJ Palmer's Discord. Had to make a creature out of 1 of 3 objects (a lantern, a boot, or an old gun, I chose lantern.)
QRP with wings art!
This is old, but it's from an art challenge on RJ Palmer's Discord: "Genre Swap". Take a character and swap the genre they belong in. I chose to do Barioth from Monster Hunter as a mech, speculating what it would be like if "Monster Hunter" was more in the mecha genre.
#CreaturesOfTheLongestNight prompt 10: Shelter. Hermits of the North may be big, but they're also calm and gentle and their shells can shelter more than just themselves. Travellers track their slow, meandering paths across the north and leave supplies in their shells for others.

#CreaturesOfTheLongestNight prompt 8: Storm. Stormwalker. Stormdancer. Stormwatcher. Stormbringer. Mother of Storms. The Eye Within the Eye. The Howling Shepherd. So many names.
#CreaturesOfTheLongestNight prompt 7: Chill. They stay so still for so long icicles form in their fur. You could track one in the same spot for weeks, barely seeing it move an inch, then suddenly one day they're not there anymore.
#CreaturesOfTheLongestNight prompt 6: Steam. Spring keepers create hot springs when they soak in pools, but if you chase them away the water turns cold again. Calm and harmless, anyone can have a soak, they just have to be willing to share.
#CreaturesOfTheLongestNight prompt 5: Howl. Sea wolves are known for answering the calls of wolves with similar howls of their own. Less well known is that they also have been observed making calls similar to whales out in the open ocean. Excellent conversationalists.
#CreaturesOfTheLongestNight prompt 4: Weave. Weaver mice like to fill their nests with the prickly fluff that cupines shed. They gnaw the fibres until they're much softer and malleable.
#CreaturesOfTheLongestNight prompt 3: Blue. They hunt by sensing warmth. I pass by prompt 2, Sled, to go straight to prompt 3.
Sometimes I try to do a winter art challenge where I draw monsters for winter. Thinking I might try it again this year once November hits. Trying a slightly different format, this time instead of a list it's a map to travel across over the weeks, hitting whichever prompts you want along the way.

The truth is out there! Some old-ish Scarlet Hollow fanart. If the game's events thus far have taught me anything it's that if Stella's skeptical of it, it exists! #ScarletHollow
