You do not need to know about lift, drag or thrust coefficients to fly in Ace Combat. You have one button to go fast, one button that makes you go slow, and if you hold both of them together you can make your jet drift. You only need to remember that planes do not like the ground. Avoid the ground.

Control Resonant's world has a lot to explore, but not so much that trying to see it all feels like a lost cause. So I am just out here methodically taking this town street by street and room by room before even worrying about any quests.

Something AI is responsible for that doesn't get enough talk: How, when it scrapes a website to illegally steal everything on it, it uses up a ton of its bandwidth allotment, crashing it or racking up massive fees for site owners.

Yet again, the Game UI Database is being scraped to the point that it's getting knocked offline. Even Cloudflare's "I'm under attack" mode isn't working. I just wanted to create a resource for real designers. I'm getting so fucking sick of this.

Of course I'm working on HR: Human Remains, but I really enjoyed it. Half-Life vibes w/ less shooting. Lots of variety and cool moments, and a lot of heart in the story. Less "horror" game than I anticipated but it does have some of those moments as well. store.steampowered.com/app/3541630/...

Nothing new, but heads up for those unaware. If you are streaming without a face cam or identifiable branding, there is probably someone out there stealing your VODs and reuploading them to try to scam PR reps into sending them codes. I see them come through all the time.

By necessity I manage to overcome jet lag pretty quickly when I’m on the road, but come home and then it’s fall asleep after work, wake up at like 11:00, eat something, and I guess go back to bed now so I don’t do this again tomorrow?
