This is a widefield photo of the Veil Nebula NGC 6692 & NGC 6695. Exposure time 2hr 45min. I took this photo with a Vespera 2 Smart Telescope using its very effective 'Mosaic Mode' to capture the entire surrounding region. I just love this telescope. #Astrophotography #astronomy #nightphotography

Im looking forward to photographing M31 Andromeda again this year. I took this one last year using a TS94 Refractor. This year I'll be using the 'Vespera 2' Smart Telescope to photograph it. It will be nice to see the galaxy in widefield using the Vespera Mosaic mode. #Astronomy #Astrophotography

...and a follow up from my last post. This was the nebula I was actually waiting for - NGC6888 The Crescent Nebula. This shot is a combined 13hr (narrowband) image taken over multiple nights. I used the Optolong L-extreme filter for this one. I have to say I REALLY love that filter.

This was a quick 2.5hrs (broadband) shot of the Fireworks Galaxy NGC6946. Wasn't really planned as it was more of a passing target while waiting for the main target to come into view over the trees. It could probably do with a few more hours integration time. #Astronomy #Astrophotography
