Asking directly about suicide does not increase the risk. It can help someone feel heard and understood. #WorldSuicidePreventionDay2026
There is no single sign that tells you someone is thinking about suicide. Some people show changes in their behaviour, while others may not show any signs at all. If you're concerned about someone, trust your instincts and check in with them. #WorldSuicidePreventionDay2026

🐾 Hettie loves coming to work almost as much as she loves the treats she receives while she's there! A familiar face around the Aldrington Centre in Hove, Hettie has become a much-loved member of the CAMHS team and a source of comfort for young people and colleagues alike.
It's Cycle to Work Day! Our colleagues Pers and Nicola are getting involved - a great reminder that every journey made by bike can make a difference. Whether you've never cycled before or not ridden in a while, it's a day to get on a bike and experience the mental, physical and financial benefits.
🌟 "Sometimes simply having her nearby helps someone stay in the room, join a conversation or take part in an activity that would otherwise feel overwhelming." This International Assistance Dog Week, we're celebrating Hettie and the positive impact she has on young people across Brighton CAMHS.
🐾 Meet Hettie, a six-year-old therapy dog making a big difference to young people accessing CAMHS in Brighton. By providing comfort, companionship and a calming presence, Hettie helps young people feel more at ease during appointments and supports them on their mental health journey.
