Tomorrow I'm teaching N. K. Jemisin's "The Ones Who Stay and Fight," which seems all too appropriate. If anyone has suggestions for especially effective ways to fight, please post them as a comment.

I started teaching Keats today in Romantic lit and it hit me harder than usual. I think it's a combination of being twice as old as Keats was when he died, having lost Helen Vendler earlier this year, and a general but intense feeling of loss in the impending dystopian hellscape.
