Just been chatting to Mum. She had a lovely day out yesterday in the countryside north of Derby. 3 old friends - Mum, aged 94, sat in the front as she’s the eldest, Sheila in the back because she’s only 92 🤭 and Gill was driving and does so well and she’s a spring chicken at 86! ❤️❤️❤️

Is anyone good at identifying butterflies? I’m sewing a beautiful one at the moment by a Welsh designer. I think it’s a Gatekeeper but I’m not sure. American ladies in my needlework group keep saying they don’t like the moth … it ain’t a moth! 😂😂
Morning all. Just having an inspect of the garden. We didn’t go out yesterday after Emmy’s little sojourn! 😼 The rain has helped the dahlias in the border and my new rose Lady Emma Hamilton. There may even be some green coming in the grass! Have a lovely day 😎😎😘😘
It’s 70 years today since Mum and Dad got married. They managed 63 years together and here are a couple of photos from their Diamond Anniversary. Mum doesn’t want to do anything today though ❤️❤️
