today in Draw Steel the party 1) flirted with the BBEG's wife some more, and 2) interrogated the local priest about municipal tax policy, but most importantly 3) kicked vampire ass. I did not get to kick anybody off a roof but I *did* get to throw a hero out a window

Congrats to James and Nick and everyone who thought the game looked pretty good! For Crows, this is just the beginning. Those 8,100 people are going to get a polished, tested, amazing product and they will spread the word.

Here's the latest cartoon homage from 50 Years in the Dungeon. (I'm still doing the show on Wednesday nights, stop by if you aren't busy!) It's my Stan!ification of @geraldbrom.bsky.social's classic painting of a Belgoi (it was in the original Dark Sun boxed set AND on Dragon Magazine 173).

Happy Hispanic Heritage Month to all the Latinos, Latinas and Latines! May our celebrations be as beautiful and amazing as we are. It's been incredibly hard for us but even after everything, we're still here. ¡Los quiero mucho amigos! ¡Dense el permiso para celebrar y que la pasen muy feliz!

Beyond the shores of Lake Ashane in far Rashemen you’ll find Kissethkashaan’s ancient lair. What once lay dormant has begun to stir. I hope you’re prepared. Created for the #DnD compilation ‘Adventures in Faerûn’, my hi-res #RPGmap of the High Country is now available from #TheEpicAtlas. 🔗🧶⬇️

I'm running two D&D games with my Dungeons & Dragons: World of Warcraft cocreators right now, and both groups have just gone into the past. They're both playing the same scenario: defeat Onyxia before the Infinite Dragonflight gives her the power to conquer all and create a new timeline.

Five Horde heroes fighting the Black Dragon Onyxia and her whelps

I'm running the D&D adventure I4 "Oasis of the White Palm" for one of my home games. The party has embraced the politics of the oasis. This adventure packs a lot of intrigue into its lean number of pages!

Does anyone have examples of solo ttrpg combat systems that use theater of the mind but also provide some kind of tactical decision making? I'm aware of Ironsworn's "push-your-luck" type system.
