If you have a browser with userscript support (all of them), I kitbashed a quick script to bypass this screen. Click the raw button on the link below & your extension should pick it up. Since it only runs on Twitch, it’s better than other extension offerings atm: gist.github.com/SocksTheWolf...

Oh, that's why my metrics have taken a dive recently - Twitch pushed a new update that doesn't count someone as a viewer if they don't have the Twitch tab in focus RIP everyone who watches streams in the background, Twitch has no idea how people actually use their platform

A pop-up on Twitch that says "Hey, come back! This commercial break can't play while you're away." "Avoid minimizing or muting Twitch for a better experience"

I lost my job recently, and it's getting really fuckin scary out there. I'm happy we live in the state we do now, but it's hard to know what's going to happen. It was already hard, now they're threatening healthcare, and we're struggling. Any help, no matter how small, would really help right now.
