under remarked on aspect of trump is his deep hatred of natural beauty and the natural world.
OMG did yall know that man in the White House is changing East Potomac Park (including Hains Point) into a “championship golf course”?! They’ve already started cutting down the trees. And some of the cherry blossom trees that are only found one place on earth, DC.
That’s them folk up north. I remember being in New York COMPLETELY confused how openly they use it up there.
And niggas co-signing non-niggas saying nigga will ALWAYS blow me.
She’s someone suffering an INTENSE identity crisis. You’re looking at a person who has no idea who they actually are. A human in stasis I feel.
She’s so scary 😨 lmao
Also I truly believe alot of Elizabeth Holmes content is funded and pushed by Silicon Valley trying to say “SEE! This is why we don’t want women around here!” Women seeking venture capital funding have been almost completely shut out even years later and across fields. This is concerted.
White collar crime is extremely fascinating to people because it’s been retconned into a sort of Robin Hood/rage against the machine type of genre. “She’s only in jail cause she scammed rich people” is only partly true.
Only A24 would decide “yep this is the trailer!”
Thirty-four days before she reported to prison, Theranos founder Elizabeth Holmes gave Nathan Fielder and Lance Oppenheim access to document her every move. That turned into a three-year project, and A24 will release the resulting documentary this October.
ProPublica spoke to dozens of people who had lived in homeless encampments when cities cleared them out in “sweeps.” We distributed notecards so people could tell us about the toll in their own words. ➡️ This is what they wrote:
This is called civil asset forfeiture (remember immigration is NOT a criminal issue). Under criminal forfeiture the government can ONLY seize property if you have been convicted of a crime. But CIVIL forfeiture? They’ll take whatever you have b/c the PROPERTY itself is considered guilty of a crime
DHS is stealing Haitians money while they deport them. www.nytimes.com/2026/09/06/w...
Trying to get my big cousin to convince everybody to wear masks around my aunt who is fighting an infection in the hospital. Im SO disappointed on hospital staff cause not a SOUL has a mask on in that hospital in all the nights we been going. Only me and my boyfriend
Me towards anyone promoting this Bluesky's Top 38 Most Influential
Thank you! I will literally weep when this is over
I’m so excited for your book!!! I know it will be awesome, you’ve put SO much work in.
Get ready to rev up your pre-order engines, friends! January will be here before you know it!
2027! Pre-orders begin in January
Bingo! I have over 100,000 followers across platforms and I already included my network in my proposal. Every endorsement, the foreword, blurbs, ARCs, and everything else are because of ME tapping my network and (pleasantly) people excited for me and this book
I heard one debut author say she included a marketing plan in her book proposal, because she knew how/where to promote her book better than some generic 20-something would. Unless you're a celebrity with enough name recognition to sell 100,000 copies, publishers won't do the work for you.
The toughest lesson I had to learn for my upcoming debut book is that just because you’re signed to a Big 5 publisher doesn’t mean they’re gonna do anything for you. Ive been left foot, right footing it for a YEAR all over the country to secure my book tour locations & have stores ready to stock me
I take tons of initiative in my writing career. I'm not here sitting back waiting for the companies who publish me to handle the whole job. I call bookstores directly to stock me. I reach out to people I'm acquainted with I've never had a true conversation with. I promote myself like hell on here.
I was a kid wearing Get Me Bodied Extended Version OUT. I made my DADDY a fan from playing that song on repeat.
2. What was the Beyoncé song that made you a fan?
I am so happy to see that this is happening. I haven't been able to find my words to convey my grief at her passing but I tried to pull a few together in this month's newsletter: prisonculture.substack.com/p/prisons-pr... - it includes a link to the last essay she wrote which offers us lessons.

I’m at the session about lessons from Amisha Patel at the Socialism Conference. Amisha passed on in April, but through her words and friends, she continues to offer us guidance.
Hot Take: This is why podcasts are important for the preservation of pop culture history and media. I print out all of my articles Ive written or been featured in.
BET Digital has permanently removed all its digital news articles from its website to 'prioritize video content,' I'm told. Years of news articles are now gone forever. Some writers were able to save their stories; some weren't
There’s a reason she doesn’t revisit that album super often
oh my
Hot Take: Kitty Kat is kinda boosted lmao. Yall gave that song alot
18. Kitty Kat or Heated?
Dangerously In Love was when she was being forced into making what I call “baby mama music” and that contributed to why she fired Matthew. She wanted to make FUN music. Hence B’Day.
4. Dangerously in Love or B'Day?
I’m still Cécred’s number 1 fan so lmaooo
I forgot all about this lmao. And it would be different if she had said what Ive said all my life which is that men should not be allowed anywhere near women’s prisons (we are one of the only nations that allow it) and that THAT is a reform could institute immediately but she was on some other stuff
Yes! She also wanted to build "feminist prisons" and Angela Davis herself told her it was a bad idea, but she wouldn't listen. Imagine not listening to Angela Davis
Sex workers funded my organization when no one else would. The OnlyFans girls banded together in our 2nd year of operation and probably gave me $40,000+ to start our Girl Code program to donate menstrual products to incarcerated women. So fuck Gloria Steinem.
She also FOUGHT HARD to keep sex workers out of the women’s march
Gloria Steinem was an unrepentant anti-communist CIA agent, single -issue feminist, paid to keep feminism anti-Black and anti-classwar, a Zionist, and violently transphobic. I don't care if she softened her stance on trans shit, she was anti-Black and a Zionist, and sought no absolution.
I would literally murder someone for a croissant.
