I've been thinking a lot about forgotten Minecraft minigames recently. Lava Survival and Zombie Survival from Classic were some of my favorite games back in the day. They were so simple but really shaped my early experiences with the game. Are there any other forgotten minigames that you remember?

What version of Windows is most nostalgic to you? For me it has to be between Windows Vista and Windows 7. I always used XP and 7 as a kid -- but I used to watch Team Avolition videos which was my only exposure to Vista. Trying to theme my computer to be Vista-inspired right now. >:3

I would love to see more Advancements added to Minecraft that spark creativity like the On A Rail achievement. Even though the task is just to build a long ass rail -- it accomplishes much more than that. It gives an idea to the player that they might not have thought about before.
It's so weird having an interest around nostalgia because you will meet so many people who love whimsy and fun... and then you'll meet the people who are just constantly mad at the world. It's even weirder when the interest is a block game LOL Anyway here's a house I built on modernbeta.org

Did you know that the texture for Cobblestone released in Minecraft Beta 1.7 was actually a clever reusage of the old sprite? The image was split and shifted around with a few edits to create the modern Programmer Art Cobblestone! This happens a lot with Minecraft textures - have a look!
