Read @shadow-moon.bsky.social’s thread. We should be careful not to vilify Spindlehorse or Viv. We probably won’t ever know what happened but if it was this, then legally their hands were tied. I think the fact they can still sell at conventions is telling that this isn’t the big bad corp situation.

If the above is true (and I think it likely is) lawyers got involved. Basically, in order to keep the video down and also to protect IP, legal said they had to change their policy, otherwise they were unprotected. That video took money to make and it would be a big financial hit, incentive for legal
