A quick search and the top results for the lead journalist on this shows her work focuses almost exclusively on exposés of scandal and dark secrets. This seems like nothing but a fishing trip for material that paints furries in a bad light. No one should touch it with a ten foot pole.

Hearing that channel 4 are making a documentary about the adult side of furry gives me the fear I can't see it leaving a positive impact. If the prod company comes asking to use footage/ wants to speak with you use EXTREME caution.

A tetanus-diphtheria vaccine that doesn’t need a fridge has passed its first human trial. UK scientists reformulated a licensed shot using trehalose, the sugar that lets desert plants survive without water, keeping it stable for up to two years at 30°C. Gavi buff.ly/1kNIUHB #ShareGoodNewsToo

Fridge-free vaccine passes first human trial, raising hopes for the hardest-to-reach

Unreliable electricity makes it hard to keep vaccines at the right temperature – this development could change that.

"Hello, sexual d*gen*rate. It is is us, the media that recently pushed a black neurodivergent academic to suicide, tried enflaming public opinion into saying ADHD isnt real and actively attacks trans peoples rights weekly Would you like to talk to us on camera about your lecherous sexual activity?"

British production company looks to be trying to make a documentary on furries. Same company is renowned for making very bad faith documentaries on 'modern issues' (transgenderism, autism, ADHD, LDRs, the works) in order to stir the pot.

Hey, critters. The media's interested in furries again. As someone who's been in the fandom for well over two decades and has worked as a journalist, here's a quick guide to Dealing With The Press: If a journalist approaches you, SHUT THE FUCK UP SHUT THE FUCK UP SHUT THE FUCK UP SHUT THE FUC

If you think "i'm clever, I can help portray the fandom in a positive light!" You are exactly the sucker they're looking for. This will be tawdry and exploitative. DO NOT LET THEM USE YOU OR YOUR VIDEOS It's been a long time since the Vanity Fair article and the CSI episode. This'll be worse.

Glad to see more folk are becoming aware of that nasty UK doc crew trying to get their claws into our spaces to make their sensationalist slop.Tell them where to stick it!! Our community which is home to many vulnerable people, deserves to be protected from bad faith media vultures.

Do Not Engage. The UK media are not in the business of presenting subcultures and minorities in a positive or even sympathetic light. If you are in any way outside the mainstream you are a potential target for the next moral panic.

- they’re gonna be duty-bound to provide “balance”, and that’s going to be some frothing Reform UK type denouncing us as peado/zoo perverts while “our side” is gonna be social media fursuiters and no-one else. I agree - do not engage in the slightest

I’m hoping this isn’t an “and it begins. . .” moment! I’ve been watching out for this sort of thing ever since it became obvious that US rightwingers were never gonna make the “litterboxes in schools” story stick. The C4 people might genuinely want to make an even-handed or even positive doc, but -

Some trans folks have also gotten trapped in these weird pieces and it's just another way for the media to make marginalized people out to be freaks or villains, so I'm wary of anything like that

"... sex, kink, and controversy" Ya, 200% they're fishing for a freak show. I'd put money down that they'll beeline straight for trans stuff, and there's only one way they treat that. Do not engage, they aren't afraid to be creative in the editing room
