Wish I'd written down what colors I used for each part because dang, some of these I'd love to reuse for e.g. cosmic night sky. I did a whole bunch of wet on wet mix test patches in preparation prior to tackling this one, though, and I suppose I *could* do that again...

Snowpea 🫛 Watercolor, 11.8"x15.7" The "embroidery" was made with watercolor ground. You can feel its texture if you touch it! I wanted to put extra care into that because Snowpea canonically does embroidery.

Watercolor painting of an angelic boy wrapped in a billowy scarf. The scarf is adorned with embroidered agapanthus blooms. Watercolor ground was used to give a tangible texture to the flowers, similar to a real embroidery made with threads and beads. An angled closeup of the flowers, showcasing the sculpted embroidery texture.

So there is a fake Comic Fury app in the google play store (see pictured). Don't download this, it's not real. The real Comic Fury site is not owned by the developer and there are no microtransactions. Please help Kyo, the real creator and owner of Comic Fury, by reporting its ass.

I have a trad media wip that's been sitting 95% finished for days... It bothers me that it's physically collecting actual dust, but life has been lifing hard the past few days! And will continue to do so!

"𝙷𝚘𝚠 𝚕𝚒𝚐𝚑𝚝 𝚌𝚊𝚛𝚛𝚒𝚎𝚜 𝚘𝚗 𝚎𝚗𝚍𝚕𝚎𝚜𝚜𝚕𝚢" New digital painting (I evidently haven't forgotten how to paint digitally!). Snowpea and his symbiotic friend Nibbles above the planet Saturn. Inspired by the song Saturn by Sleeping At Last, and also by the Cassini footage of the planet.

A boy with an eldritch symbiotic entity attached to his left arm. He lovingly cradles the entity with his other arm as they float between the planet Saturn and its rings.

Watercolor study! Based on a beautiful photo by theseptemberchronicles on IG (link to the photo in replies) Very excited that I finally got to do "primatic sunlight right into your retina" in watercolor, after having painted it all the time digitally!

My dearest Snowpea is a luminous boy. The colors of this one proved impossible to photograph for my potato phone... The sparkles show up alright? It's the non-shiny colors that my phone just couldn't capture, this time. Watercolor, 9"x12"

And now it's time for Claudia and Lucio #liesofP Done to test out a new substrate. Quickly made a horrific mess across the whole thing. Managed to wipe most of it away and salvage it though! More importantly, I know exactly what not to do next time 😂 as well as what to do!

Maybe I need to be more patient with my progress. It took me months, plural, to get good at using my very first tablet (Wacom Intuos, the very first model!), and that was when I was an 18-year-old sponge of knowledge and skills. Today I am in my 40s, and have only been doing this since Jul 1.
