Thanks to the weather last night, I only got a total of maybe 3 hours of sleep. Woke up to a gnarly thunderstorm system that lasted until 3am, so I didn't get back to sleep until 5, then woke up again to a crash of lightning at 6:30 or 7am. Uhg.

On a different note I had, for whatever reason, forgotten I get severe summer S.A.D and that's why I've been so miserably fucking depressed. This brain of mine is competing with a sieve istg.

I have no idea how many actual hours of sleep I've had in the last 4 days but I know it's under 10 and I keep hoping for that sweet, sweet crash into oblivion. Basically: Insomnia is bullshit.
Man, when these downs hit so hard they make me nauseous.
An update on other things, it's been a busy week and it's only wednesday. Had two cable services come out to remove old wires from the home and pole, had the power company come out to look at the lines, had a well company come out to talk about backfilling the well. Too much going on. Tired af.
Local store dumped a bunch of plants into their dumpster and the one I pulled (sold at 1/2) I originally thought was a native, and isn't D; Can't take it back and need to suck it up. The positive is the birds will like it and it's not invasive. A but bummed, but, whatever.
I been trying. Very hard but my mental state is just really bad. I'm probably going to be a bit unresponsive/mia until this resolved itself. Thanks for understanding ❤️🫂
Making phone calls to different companies to get old and unused utilities removed is such a pain D; I still don't know what to do about the 2 damned antennae on the roof.

I am so exhausted. Kind of feels like half my brain is functioning, and only at around 30%. I'm happy that I got things planted, still need to determine where the other dogwood goes. And still need to buy witch hazel, high bush cranberry, and ferns. I've also picked out other understory natives ❤️
Husband bought two dogwoods for me today (they were 50% off) which totaled $26. Tempted to go back for a couple more, or the last Japanese maple :\
Yellow jacket spoiler: Holding onto this girl until the rain stops. She was trapped in my empty watering can I had brought inside from yesterday. So, until the weather clears, she's hanging out with me. Cotton swab has water, and I gave her a piece of wet cat food. She's napping now, btw.
My rambutan seeds finally have roots! Now to wait 3-6 years for maybe fruit if I can keep a few alive, or hope I get a hermaphrodite, for fruit D;
Much to my total delight, I found liverwort growing (though it's fucking distressed rn...) in my serviceberry planter. So I collected a bunch before I planted the serviceberry and now have it in a container on my desk.
Okay, after the last two days of doing a ton of physical work outside, and the storms from this afternoon, I am putting off the stream until tomorrow. I will ping my patreon patrons in my discord tomorrow morning (It is 7:02pm now, where I am) with an approx. time of when I will get started <3

I wish I could express just how uninterested yellow jackets are about me being busy in the yard. They're all over the place and they give 0 fucks about me. I was weeding, they'd fly near my hands, my feet, me face, and curiously check out what I was doing. Hang around, follow me, and that was it.
Time to get the day started, I guess. I have some things to do outside, again, but when I come back inside later today, I'll make my best attempts to stream for my patrons on my discord server.
