A Good Woman Is Hard To Find is like Straw Dogs from a female perspective and I’m 100% here for it! Sarah Bolger (literally) kills it in the lead role while always maintaining a young single mother’s humanity. Outstanding!
Looking for a good down-and-dirty double feature? I suggest Julia Hart's I'M YOUR WOMAN followed by Abner Pastoll's A GOOD WOMAN IS HARD TO FIND. Both are excellent, and each features performances from their leads Rachel Brosnahan and Sarah Bolger amongst the year's very best.
