Ive been absent from here for a year. Im dealing with major body pain. I've had my left hip and knee replaced. Now I need to get height hip and knee replaced. I can hardy walk. I can't wait for all this surgery to be done so I can be active again.
My friend came over last night and helped me put my desk back. I'm hooking everything back up today and will be online today at 1:30!!! I'm so darned excited.
Well it appears they fixed the leak but they haven't fixed the ceiling. I'm sick of this shit. My neighbor is coming over after he runs around getting chores done to move my desk and computer so I can stream again. The super will just have to move it again when they actually get here for repairs.
Well, they fixed the leak but didn't patch the ceiling; they won't fix that til Monday. I'm going to see if I can get my home health aide to help sort my desk and computer. Hopefully it can get done. I can't do it as I need a hip replacement.
The workers have moved my computer desk and computer so they can fix the leaks in the ceiling and the radiator. OMG what a freaking mess!!
The plumber ripped a huge hole in the ceiling and then went upstairs to check on their radiator. After all that he needed to get a part. I hope he picks it up today.
Dammit the plumber surprisingly came over to work the problems with the leak. So much for streaming. Dammit to hell.
I'm happy but bummed our at the same time. My ceiling is leaking and my building super. Is going to be over today and tomorrow to repair it and repaint. This is great but I won't be able to stream. But, I will be able to this weekend! Yay
I start streaming again tomorrow-yay! I've got so many games to play it's difficult to decide what I want to play. Normally I stream from noon til 4 but my home health aide doesn't leave until 1pm so I may change it to a start time of 1:30 to 5:30 pm. I hope my hip holds out.
I still have a horrid cough and my hip still hurts like hell but I will be back to streaming next Thursday!! Yay, I've missed it. I will use two pillows for my hip pain while sitting as that should help.
Im finally feeling better but I caught a really bad cold with cough and itchy ears. My doctor has sent meds to my pharmacy. I'll be back to streaming on Thursday next week. I can't wait!
I haven't been streaming for the past two woks. I've been dealing with some health issues. I should be back in a week and a half or so depending.
I'm currently studying Spanish. I use flash cards for my vocabulary. Each time I see a Spanish word, instead of saying the English word I say the German word. I studied German for years in college 45 years ago. I suppose it never leaves you.

I am thrilled. My one aide is from Afghanistan and she makes me Mid-Eastern food. My other aide is Cuban and she is going to the grocery store to buy food to make me Cuban food. I am in heaven.
