my main lesson as an artist lately is learning how important it is to accept that my work can suck and still be worth it. you have to be able to believe that you are making something really awesome in order to make something really awesome, and that can’t come forward while ruthlessly self-censoring

I've been tinkering with digital textures and I wanted to share this interesting dither generating brush I created for CSP. this pattern emerges from how the hand puts the texture down. isn't it mesmerizing?

I do a lot more “learning art” and doing art for game projects where I am just a contributor, so I end up with not a lot of work to share. I am thinking in that case, I might begin to share more studies of what I am learning in my spare time
