Neuropilin-1 (NRP1) is a co-receptor for NGF/TrkA pain signaling. Inhibiting NRP1 can reduce nociceptor activation and NGF-related pain. This important finding by the Bunnett lab and colleagues could lead to a non-opioid alternative for chronic pain treatment. www.jci.org/articles/vie...
