“Did you too see it drifting all night on the black river? Did you see it in the morning rising into the silvery air?” Odette skateboard for DROP IN: Skate Deck Art Show 🎨

Odette - black& white skateboard design of Odette's transformation and the Swan Maiden in folklore. Illustration is a football skateboard shape. At the bottom curve is a black border followed by a porcelain edge filigree pattern with dashes/ lines. Inside the curve is a constellation design mimicking the star patterns of Neuschwanstein Castle in Bavaria known as the "Swan Prince" castle. Grey stars on a white background with fine line ink. Above the border is a metal embossed moon medallion in grey with daisies and a moon. Large stylized white waves morphing into magical energy as they transform Odette are overtop the body of a painted outlined swan turned to the left with its wing folded down with speckled grey patterning mimicking vintage ballet costume patterns. To the left of the swan is a large silver sacred heart with jewels, radial background, a sword vertically piercing it and an arch with three jewelled stars. Below is a rendered and outlined oval link chain winding behind the elements. To the right of the white swan is a faceted 8 point metal star with fleur de lis arm segments and a large diamond in the middle. Flying through the chain link is a Russian striped folk arrow. Above is the black swan counterpoint Odile flipped in reversed. Over top is a paisley like folk pattern of Russian like embroidery of flowers, vines and curved tear drops in flat toned greys. Above is a matching mirrored medallion of daises but with a sun instead for the time restraints of the spell from the ballet. The top curve is a tangle of branches/dark leaves in black on a lighter black background. Overtop are white fine line inked chamomile flowers in reference to Tchaikovsky's sister Aleksandra who inspired his ballets and the area of Russia they grew up. The border is split into white on the top & black on the bottom. Behind both swans are walls with a tile pattern of black 8 point stars lined in white on a grey background framing an empty space doorway is shaded wall moulding.
