First gig since Feb 5th elbowpocalypse this weekend, at Belfast Guitar Festival. I'm not nervous you're nervous

I was worried the 2nd UK Acoustic Bootcamp couldn't live up to last year, but it was even better. The returning campers felt immediately at home, so we could be a welcoming committee for new recruits. After the year I've had, I left bootcamp feeling rejuvenated and reconnected. Bring on next year!

Keeping my fingers in shape while my elbow unbreaks itself. Anyone got any more hand/wrist/finger drills?

My last gig ended with a snapped elbow. Now I'm deep into rehab, and this tour is the distant light I'm fighting towards every day. And dreaming about. TBH I won't care if I'm the only person in the venue. But if you'd like to be there for my unleashing, that would lovely too

Surgery went well. The end of my humerus is now screwed back into place. Photo from before the anaesthetic was fully worn off, with nurse/literal-angel Sheryl Pain will wear off soon, then BRING ON THE PHYSIO. Gonna keep posting updates, the support from everyone is keeping the darkness at bay

Having surgery on my elbow today. Keep thinking of my 6 year old self learning his first chords. Wish me luck.
