The LGBTQI+ community is under attack around the world by anti-equality politicians, but not all world leaders are backing down. The UN High Commissioner for Human Rights refused to mince his words and called out these attacks for being "designed to confuse and to distract.”

Over the weekend, the Turkish government targeted LGBTQI+ organizations & human rights defenders in its latest crackdown on the LGBTQI+ community Freedom of expression & freedom of association are core human rights that should never be undermined, especially by the government.

90% of LGBTQI+ groups worldwide have lost funding since 2025, including those that work to provide HIV services, relocate LGBTQI+ refugees fleeing violence, & more. These are the real impacts of Trump's illegal dismantling of USAID, cuts to foreign aid, & sabotaging of PEPFAR.

In the midst of an economically-disastrous war with Iran, Trump's DoD is burning precious staff resources & time on a witch hunt through troops' private medical records in order to force out trans servicemembers. DoD continues to have the wrong priorities under Hegseth & Trump.

Trump's Department of Education censored critical data it had already collected on trans & nonbinary students, including instances of anti-trans harassment. Erasing this data will make it harder to track violations of students' rights & put vulnerable students at greater risk.
