I build open source 3D Printers. https://github.com/magpie-printer/magpie

#3dprintopia was incredible. Humbled by how many people had heard of the Magpie printer project, even if they didn't know where they knew it from. Big things coming in this upcoming year. I want to make kits, make other sized magpies, and really get the community involved. Stay tuned.

Leading up to 3D Printopia, I thought I should probably stop letting perfect be the enemy of good. So in the mean time before I have a dedicated Magpie mod site, I should make contributions and clear on github. To that end, I've finally added contributions md file and a mods folder.

Inching closer and closer to a version 1.0 release. I have no clue how far off we are, but if this version works well, it may be time to push it to github, and start thinking about making kits for it.

@freecad.bsky.social Loving FreeCAD 1.0, but running into an issue with A2 + performance. Opening a project that was previously in FreeCAD 0.22 & attempting to use FreeCAD 1.0 to work on A2plus assemblies, it takes 20 seconds to respond after every click once the workbench is loaded.
