We're in House Public Health where today's agenda again includes SB 904, the shucked bill targeting Medicaid coverage of gender confirming care for trans folks while attempting to expand barriers to care for all Oklahomans.

The #okleg is still up to business as usual (derogatory) and that means today we're tuned into the Senate Retirement and Govt Resources Committee where Chair David Bullard is schedule to present HB 1219, a bill censoring government celebration of/support of/outreach to 2SLGBTQIA+ folks.

I was going to write today, but until we know more, I don't have any new words for this moment. What I will say is that if you are reeling, and you know you want to be part of making things better, Mariame Kaba and I wrote a book for you. I hope it helps.

We're tuned in virtually this morning for House Public Health where they're set to hear SB 904 by Senator Gollihare and Representative Kannady, a bill shucked to target Medicaid coverage of trans healthcare for folks of all ages + create a broader desert of healthcare impacting everyone.

Our second major deadline of session is over, and with it, we've got our eyes on 29 bills active this session, and 15 more that are carried over from last year and still eligible to advance.

Unfortunately, we've been watching the Oklahoma Senate for the last 12 hours. And they're now set to hear SB 904, a shucked bill now attacking gender confirming care for trans folks of all ages in Oklahoma, sometime shortly (relative). You can watch the live hearing, here oksenate.gov/live-chamber

We're in House Rules on the last day of Committee Deadline. The committee has moved to a larger room, 450, and is still standing room only.
