Meanwhile, #ScampiVonMonkeyface has had another checkup from the vet and they're overjoyed with how well she's healing, there's no swelling or discomfort so we're ok to go on holiday tomorrow and bring her back again once we're back if the stitches haven't already fallen out by then :)

She looks like she's snarling like a caged beast Scampi looking up, still with claws hooked into the mesh as if to say I'll do this to you too if you don't let me out of here soon. (She was fine as soon as she was on the examining table, it's just the transport she doesn't like.)Scampi crying out for help, if only anyone would listen. Oh wait, I did listen, all the way to the vets and all the way back again.Again, looking up with the claws outstretched, definite plans are being made for later.

Just heard back from vets, she HAS had to lose half her tail, but surgery went well, she's fully awake now and eating breakfast, just have to wait a few more hours til we can pick her up.

#ScampiVonMonkeyface is now at the vets to have the lump removed from her tail. Might possibly get away with just the lump being removed but likely will have to lose half her tail, they'll ring us to let us know later 🤞

Scampi sat on the end of the bed last night, wanting to know why there's been no food since 8pm
